Our second hike was one rated Difficult.
You can find this hike on All Trails App.
This hike was the first every hike to give me some vertigo, it is not like
I have not done a hike with this elevation before, but coming from Vancouver where the hikes are usually surrounded of trees, this hike was completely different, it was just bare, in fact you are able to hear the noise of the snakes all the way up.
We felt kind of like mountain goats.
It was really hard on my knees, but to be honest, I consider it to be because we just did an intermediate hike the day before.
So if you are planning to do this hike, please be very well rested, and do not forget to bring hiking poles, there are always some sticks around the beginning of the trail, but nothing like hiking poles !
Also the views are amazing right at the start, but they just keep getting better and better.
What we also noticed is that the hikers were mainly ladies, so power girl !!
And also the main road to the hike is really narrow, so be careful if there is another vehicle coming along the other way ! We did not experience this, but just so you know.
There are lots of houses around the area, so it makes you feel you are not that into the wilderness.
That been said, be really careful on the way back, because there is a part of the hike that has Forrest and it is very easy to get lost in the Forrest, just pay attention !
This was the view on the way to the hike, beautiful mountain !
